Timber Fencing

Paling, lapped and capped, and privacy screens in treated pine or hardwood.

A good timber fence starts below the ground. Posts are set to the right depth in concrete, rails are fixed level and true, and every paling is spaced and nailed so the fence still looks right years from now.

Timber remains the most popular choice for Gold Coast homes. It is warm to look at, simple to repair and can be stained or painted to suit the house. We build in treated pine for value and in hardwood where strength and longevity matter most.

Every job is set out with a string line and checked as it goes up, so the finished fence follows your boundary cleanly and steps or rakes neatly with the slope of the ground.

Standard paling

The classic Queensland boundary fence. Practical, affordable and quick to build.

Lapped and capped

Overlapping palings with a capping rail on top for full privacy and a finished look.

Exposed post and rail

Posts and rails on show for a clean, modern finish on street frontages.

Privacy screens

Battens or slats to screen an outdoor area, pool equipment or bins.

Questions

Timber Fencing FAQs

How long does a timber fence last?

A well built treated pine fence will usually give many years of service, and hardwood longer again. Keeping garden beds and sprinklers off the palings and resealing every few years makes a big difference.

Can you build on a slope?

Yes. We step or rake the fence to follow the ground so the top line looks deliberate and the bottom stays tight to the soil.

Do you remove the old fence?

Yes. Removal and disposal can be included in your quote so the whole job is handled in one go.

Let's get your fence sorted.

Send a few photos and a rough length, and you will have a clear written quote, usually within a day.
